    Kirk is a co-owner of Pacific Appraisal Associates and has been a practicing real estate appraiser since he obtained his General Certification in real estate appraisal in 1994.

    Kirk has achieved MAI designation (a Designated member of the Appraisal Institute). The prestigious MAI membership designation is held by appraisers who have gone above and beyond the education and experience required for state certification. It has long been recognized by courts of law, government agencies, financial institutions and investors as a mark of excellence in the field of real estate valuation and analysis. The designation was granted September 20, 2016.

    A native of Central Washington, Kirk earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with concentrated studies in real estate and finance from Washington State University in 1992. After graduation he joined the team at Pacific Appraisal Associates.

    His areas of expertise include agricultural, industrial, ag-industrial, commercial, multi-family and residential developments. He has also performed benefit analysis studies for road and utility improvement districts, and has provided expert real estate testimony and litigation services.

    Kirk’s conviction that a quality product is of utmost importance inspires him to continually work to provide informative and accurate reporting in a format tailored to the needs of his clients. He strives to maintain a perceptive intellect to apply in daily practice through continuing education and discussion with peers in the workplace and industry.

  • Bio/Qualifications

    Brian is a generally certified Real Estate Appraiser working on a variety of projects. He has been awarded the Appraisal Institute’s prestigious MAI membership designation, which is held by appraisers who are experienced in the valuation and evaluation of commercial, industrial, residential and other types of properties, and who advise clients on real estate investment decisions. The designation was granted October 7, 2015.

    Brian's specialties include eminent domain, medical, retail, industrial and multi-family projects. His list of clients includes numerous lending institutions; federal, state and local governments; public utility districts; attorneys; and private parties. He has worked on a wide variety of projects throughout Central Washington including Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Okanogan, Kittitas, Yakima and Benton counties.

    Brian was raised in Western Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington in 1987. He moved to Leavenworth in 1992 where he has made his home with his wife and two daughters. He has been involved in real estate as a commercial property manager of retail and multi-family properties, land development and commercial orchards since coming to Leavenworth.

    Continuing education enables Brian to expand his appraisal experience and achieve designation with the leading real estate and appraisal organizations. His goal is to provide quality, credible and defendable valuations on a wide variety of properties to a diverse clientele in a professional and timely manner.

    Mike has worked on a variety of diverse assignments including land, professional office and retail buildings, warehouses, multi-family complexes and industrial properties. His clients include Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Chelan Douglas Land Trust, The Yakama Nation, large lending institutions, and federal and local governments. He enjoys providing professional, accurate valuations to each of his clients in an efficient and timely manner.

    Mike grew up in Cashmere and now lives in Wenatchee with his wife and two sons. His career in the appraisal field began in 2003 when he joined the appraisal research department of Pacific Appraisal Associates. He then began attending Appraisal Institute courses and earned his General Certification in April 2006. He expands his appraisal experience through continuing education, discussion with peers in the workplace and throughout the real estate appraisal industry.

    Ann began her appraisal career in 1990 with the Okanogan County Assessor’s office and achieved her certification in 1993. She was hired on with Pacific Appraisal Associates, PLLC in 1994 and is now the residential specialist for the firm. She has experience in appraising all types of properties including single and multi-family residences, recreational properties, lots and land parcels of all sizes, and specializes in high end, new construction, jumbo homes as well as waterfront property on both Lake Chelan and the Columbia River.

    With an extensive educational background, Ann continues to keep up to date on the ever-changing appraisal field with continuing education courses. She strongly believes in education as a lifelong process and feels she can best serve her clients by being well informed.

    Ann specializes in residential appraisals in the Chelan and Douglas County areas, and performs all types of residential appraisal assignments for mortgages, new construction, estate properties, home equity assignments and has experience giving expert testimony in Superior Court. She is a member of the NCW Association of Realtors, The Washington Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

    Her formal education includes an A.A.S. degree in Forest Technology where she graduated valedictorian of the New York State Ranger School in 1983. She then moved to Spokane, WA., where she continued her education at Eastern Washington University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlands Recreation Management in 1986. After working as a Forester and Park Ranger for several years, she made a career change to Real Estate Appraisal in 1990.

    Don Gurnard joined Pacific Appraisal Associates in July of 2013 and is currently licensed as a Real Estate Appraiser working in Chelan and Douglas Counties. Previous experience includes Investment Advisor with a Series 7 license, private business owner and served on the Wenatchee City Council for 12 years. Volunteer groups include the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival, Wenatchee Applarians, Wenatchee Central Lions and has served on a number of boards.
